Green Creations is Expanding to Palestine!

We are working hard here in Ramallah to get Green Creations up and running! Product development, purchasing supplies, organizing our shared workshop space and finding local venues in which to sell are the things that are keeping us busy!  We hope to make a trip to the Mediterranean Sea for sea glass collection in the coming days as the weather is finally warming up here on the west side of the Jordan.

As I see Green Creations: Palestine take shape, my heart is overwhelmed!  I have followed the Green Creations journey from the earliest days. It was my desire to see Green Creations come to Palestine, but the looming questions about cost and timing kept that dream from coming to fruition. As with many things, patience and persistence paid off!  The success of Green Creations meant that it was time to expand.  Knowing my love for and commitment to Green Creations, the directors of the program in Jordan sought me out to see if I was a place in my life where heading up a new workshop was possible.  The timing was perfect and the dream began to come alive!

It is with great joy that I share this journey with you!  And I look forward to the day when our Ramallah workshop is fully staffed and producing the beautiful, unique handmade products that you have come to know and love from Green Creations.  Taking trash and turning it into treasure! Helping marginalized women discover their strengths and gifts so they can make a change in their own lives!  The reasons Green Creations exists resonates in me.  I hope it does in you, too!
